Women’s History Month

As March begins, APS proudly celebrates Women’s History Month.

This year’s theme, Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations, recognizes the remarkable women who have shaped our world through education, mentorship and leadership. Their dedication has not only influenced the past but continues to inspire generations of students to dream, achieve and lead.

We encourage our APS community to honor this legacy by exploring the diverse stories of women who have made history and those who continue to pave the way. Whether in our classrooms, libraries or daily conversations, let’s uplift the voices and contributions of women who have transformed education and society.

Learn more at Women’sHistory.org and from the Library of Congress.Together, we celebrate the women who have shaped our world and the ones who will shape our future.
