Barrett Appreciates Our School Counselor Mrs. Catromiller!

APS Celebrates our School Counselors: https://www.apsva.us/post/aps-celebrates-national-school-counseling-week/  during National School Counseling Week Feb. 6-10 2023.

Barrett appreciates our school counselor Mrs. Castromiller https://barrett.apsva.us/counseling/meet-school-counselors/

The theme of this year’s week is “School Counselors: Helping Students Dream Big.” Whatever you need to be successful at school – whether that’s learning how to stay motivated to complete your work, having positive relationships with your fellow students, advocating for yourself or overcoming barriers – school counselors are here for it.You’ve probably heard of actor and producer Tyler Perry. He said, “I don’t think the dreams die. I think people give up. I think it gets too hard.” Sometimes achieving your dreams IS hard, but we are here to help you not give up.

We are also excited to welcome our 2nd counselor- Mrs. Chelse Goncalves. She will be starting with us on February 14th and will be at Barrett on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
