Dear Barrett Families:

I hope you enjoy this much needed long weekend. We are entering our final weeks for the SOL assessments. Our students have been doing a fabulous job being and following R.A.D. (Barrett’s test taking strategies) as they sit for these assessments. Please give our students a high five for taking time to read, act, and decide and continue to encourage our students to do their best, take their time, and show their work! We are so proud to see how hard they are working and practicing their test taking skills.

Library Updates: Friday, June 2nd is the last day for students to check out library books. This will allow students two weeks to return library books at year’s end. Please return all library books so we can loan them to students next year.

Volunteering Opportunities at Barrett – If you are volunteering for any end of year activities and/or field day, please make sure you complete the volunteer application. See this link for more information on completing the volunteering process with us. All volunteers will need to sign in at the front office and wear a visitor sticker throughout their visit with us. Please ensure you have completed the volunteer application prior to volunteering with us.
