STUDENT BELONGINGS/CLASS PHOTOS PICK UP – APS INSTRUMENT/LIBRARY BOOKS DROP OFF

Parent Pick Up Procedures – Arriving in a car:

Student items (including class photos for those who ordered them) will be individually bagged and organized by grade level & homeroom teacher.

On your student’s designated pick-up day/time (AM or PM), parents enter via George Mason Dr. parking lot entrance and come around to Door #1 (just like the Kiss & Ride route during the school year). The Henderson Road entrance/exit to the parking lot will be closed.

If you have multiple children, please come on your OLDEST child’s pickup day/time.

Parents stop and “order” their child’s/children’s belongings at the parking lot gate near the garden on the side of the building (there will be cones) – Please give your child’s name, grade, and homeroom teacher.

Parents pull around and pick up items at Door 1 (the front of the school).

Parents drop off materials by pulling around and parking in designated spaces facing George Mason Drive and drop items in boxes and around cones (boxes/cones labeled for APS instruments, library books, etc.)

Exit onto George Mason Drive. The Henderson Road entrance/exit to the parking lot will be closed.

On your student’s designated pick-up day/time (AM or PM), parents walk up to the front of the school via the Henderson Road entrance. Follow the signs and cones.

If you have multiple children, please come on your OLDEST child’s pickup day/time.

Parents stop and “order” their child’s/children’s belongings at the end of the ramp in front of the building (there will be cones) – Please give your child’s name, grade, and homeroom teacher.

Parents pick up items at Door 2 (there will be a table).

Parents drop off materials in boxes and around cones (boxes/cones labeled for APS instruments, library books, etc.) located behind Little Free Library out front.

Exit via sidewalk going towards the bus loop.

Student APS Devices & Library Books

All students remaining in APS that have been assigned a device, will keep the device through the summer. This includes students moving to middle school or a different school within APS.

Students that are leaving the APS district will need to schedule time to return equipment at Syphax (2110 Washington Blvd). Contact Fred Delventhal at brttechhelp@apsva.us to start the scheduling process as soon as possible.

AM 8:00-10:30 – VPI, PreK SPED, MiniMIPA, Montessori

PM 1:30-4:00 – Kindergarten

Tuesday June 9

AM 8:00-10:30 – 1st Grade

PM 1:30-4:00 – 2nd Grade

Wednesday June 10

AM 8:00-10:30 – 4th Grade

PM 1:30-4:00 – 5th Grade

Thursday June 11

AM 8:00-10:30 – 3rd Grade

PM 1:30-4:00 – MIPA K-2, MIPA 3-5, Functional Life Skills
