On Friday the Barrett fourth graders came to the Discovery Lab tovideoconference with their science teacher, Mr. Easley. Mr. Easley, whowas in Yellowstone National Park, shared hisadventures from the week. The students learned that Mr. Easley used tools tomeasure the temperature of snow at different levels, to analyze ice cores, andto measure wind speed. Mr. Easley saw animals out in the snow. He likedwatching the bison. Some of the time he was in a classroom trying outlessons he will teach the Barrett students. During the videoconferenceMr. Easley showed video clips and photos of his activities. Then students hadthe opportunity to ask questions. Welcome back, Mr. Easley. We are lookingforward to hearing more about your trip. And thanks to the NASA Explorer School program forfunding the trip.
