Students in grades 1, 3, and 5 began their week with a ‘birthday party’ honoring the 109th birthday of our National Wildlife Refuge System. Activities included: Making models of scat and tracks, coloring pages about the NWRS, bird wingspan measuring, reading what we received from our Flat Puddles Project, Pin the Feather on Puddles, and freeze dancing to our song, “Rock the Refuge”.
