As a part of celebrating that Barrett students read over 33, 000 books, students were treated to an assembly called Wonders of the Rainforest. Students were able to see an Argentinean Boa Constrictor, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Iguanas, a South American Raccoon, a bull frog, and a Kikachu, often called a honey bear. All of the students enjoyed seeing these exotic animals. Thanks, Barrett PTA for funding this! Also, thanks to Project Discovery and Barrett Science Lead Teacher Allyson Greene for organizing the event.
Photos of the event were taken by Instructional Technology Coordinator (ITC) Fred Delventhal.
