Currently in the Discovery lab, 5th graders are learning about the ocean floor and the various zones within the ocean waters. Below are some pictures of 5th graders building ocean floor models with the help of iPads, along with students simulating how an animal living in the twilight zone eats! We concluded that the brighter the food, the easier it is for an ocean animal living in the twilight zone to eat it! This proved true as the yellow and orange food were eaten a lot more than the red, green, blue, and black foods!
