DSC05125 DSC05085 UPDATE JANUARY 2011 – Barrett student N.C. won first place and represents the United States in the 2011 International Children’s Art Calendar presented by the Mangrove Action Project. To view the calendar (especially the month of March with the mangrove painting by N.C.), go to http://mangroveactionproject.org/map-programs/childrens-art-calendar. 6/28/10 – A benefit of the students sharing their learning with a mangrove ecologist last week was that they were invited to enter the International Mangrove Calendar Art Contest.Mrs. Streeter (Art), Mrs. Lambert (4th grade) and Mrs. Sullivan (Project Discovery) facilitated the project for the students.
