IMG_1571Today Kindergarten students learned about the life cycle of the honeybee and what a bee needs to survive. Students used blocks to make the cells in a hive and paper “puppet” bees to role play gathering nectar from flowers, making honey, the queen bee laying an egg which developed into a larva, then pupa, and then adult. We then tasted honey on crackers. Yum! IMG_1524IMG_1518IMG_1539IMG_1559IMG_1560IMG_1561IMG_1562IMG_1583IMG_1566
