The lesson began with an update on the activities taking place on the International Space Station (ISS). We watched a video clip of the astronauts unpacking Robonaut 2 (see March 16 ISS video update). Dr. Sullivan shared the photos she took when she met Robonaut’s twin recently when it was visiting our area. Then we discussed two of the ways astronauts prepare to live and work in space, in the reduced gravity jet and the pool (NBL).
