K – 5th Grade Update from Discovery Lab

Student Teacher from Switzerland – Marie-Christine Jurss comes to us from the Teacher Education program at the University of Zurich. Miss Marie will be observing and teaching in the Discovery Lab and in several classrooms. She will be with us from Monday June 2 – Friday June 20th.

3rd Graders – This week live bats will visit the Discovery Lab on Wednesday afternoon June 11 http://savelucythebat.org/

4th Graders – Ms. Toussant’s class completed the Alligators in the Great Dismal Swamp Tower Challenge https://twitter.com/lsullivan/status/474917477525516288 Over the next week the 4th graders will be engineering robotic arm “end effectors” such as those used on the Space Shuttle and International Space Station.
