April 2010 marks 20 years in orbit for Hubble Space Telescope. Classes are participating in various Hubble lessons:
- Making Hubble models of varying complexity
- Comparing Hubble to other Space Telescopes
- BrainPOP – Black Holes, Galaxies, Stars, etc. Write fact, connection, and wonderment
- Studying images taken by Hubble and recreating on paper to take home
- Learning about careers related to Hubble
- Viewing part of a Hubble program from National Geographic
- Watching NASA eClip for grades K – 5 Hubble History (5 minute fun online video). Go to this website and click on NASA Our World
