Free Patuxent Refuge Wildlife Festival this Saturday

Saturday, October 1310:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m http://www.fws.gov/northeast/patuxent/events.html This FREE family event will feature a variety of entertaining and educational activities for all ages. Children’s musical entertainer Ryan Buckle and Friends will perform for the first time at the Visitor Center, with shows at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Activities include live animal displays, children’s crafts, tram tours ($), research exhibits, and behind-the-scenes tours of the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center to see endangered whooping cranes, sea ducks, and much more! Refreshments available for purchase.
