Bird Watching 2009

As a follow up to our birds exhibit from the Virginia Living Museum, first graders have been bird watchers when visiting the Discovery Lab. They were quite surprised to see the various kinds of birds we have around Barrett, including a Bobwhite Quail, a few American Goldfinches, and a hawk that flies over Lubber Run Park! First graders took home their data sheets to continue their bird watching, so Moms and Dads should please check backpacks! Here are some of the first graders in action, along with some informational pictures!
