We are so lucky tohave wonderful resources very close to Barrett! Recently, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service hasbeen working with Project Discovery on a special project relating to endangeredspecies. Several people from this agencyvisited our school earlier this year andworked with several 4th and 5th graders to get somefeedback to help create a very fun, colorful, and informative poster whichpromotes some interesting endangered species. As a culmination to this experience, we were invited to meet the artist,, for this unique poster, and we were able to take afew students to meet her as well as to get some personalized signed copies ofthe poster.
