I joined the Barrett staff in 2004 as a Reading Specialist. Prior to that I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in Baltimore County while taking classes to earn my Masters in Reading from Towson University. In 2012, I earned National Board Certification and in 2016, I switched roles at Barrett and became the Literacy Coach. I see your children for quick bursts of time, but enjoy every minute working with them and their dedicated teachers.
I have two wonderful daughters who are little learners and I am thankful for the opportunity to see education from both sides – the teacher and the parent. I love to read, write, and exercise – jazzercise is my jam – though all of that is difficult to fit in with the little ones.
