I am one of the reading teachers here at Barrett.  I started teaching at Barrett in 2006 and since then, I have taught kindergarten, second grade, and am currently part of the reading team.  I attended Radford University where I studied elementary education with concentrations in language arts and social studies. While teaching, I pursued a master’s degree from George Mason University, where I earned my reading teacher endorsement.  As a proud product of Arlington Public Schools, I couldn’t be happier to give back to the same school system that gave me, what I believe to be the best education and from early on, instilled within me a love of learning that has never stopped.
