Interventions Update: We wanted to provide an update as we approach the 8-10 week timeframe for students participating in interventions to share that interventions are going to continue for those students. The student(s) will be participating in end of year assessments such as DIBELS and the Math Inventory next month which will provide a benchmark indicator of growth. You will receive another update regarding information on your child’s progress at that time. Should you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher or interventionist.

SOL Assessment Schedule: The SOLs will take place between May 15th- June 2nd. Please see the schedule linked here.

Student Council Association: Lollipops Fundraiser April 24th-28th 8:40-9:00 Outside Door 1. Each item is $1 each, cash and check only.

Volunteering Opportunities at Barrett – See this link for more information on completing the volunteering process with us. All volunteers will need to sign in at the front office and wear a visitor sticker throughout their visit with us. Please ensure you have completed the volunteer application prior to volunteering with us.

Field Day- We are tentatively beginning our plans for Field Day. We are currently planning on holding Field Day on Friday, June 9th and are in need of parent volunteers! Please email Robert McLaughlin for any questions at robert.mclaughlin@apsva.us.
